Scomac in the Working Environment:

 Scomac operates within and adheres to the Environmental Protection Act (1990).
- Scomac Services is a member of the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA), The Heating and Ventilating Contractors’ Association (HVCA), the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), and EIB Association.
- As an Approved Contractor and member of the NICEIC Domestic Installer Scheme, Scomac Services is able to self-certify work under Part P of the Building Regulations.
- Scomac is actively involved with the Electrical Contractors’ Association (ECA) at branch and regional level.
Quality Control:
- We maintain our own quality control system and take great pride in handing over high quality, zero snagging projects. To this end we have our own pre-snag sheets which are undertaken prior to hand over. A copy is then handed to the project's Consulting Engineer.
- As ECA members, all our work carries a full quality warranty and insolvency protection insurance.
Insurances:
Scomac is covered by:
 Professional Indemnity Insurance (£5,000,000).
Employers' Liability (£10,000,000).
Public Liability (£5,000,000).
Contractors All Risks (£1,200,000).- All work carried out by Scomac is covered by the ECA Bond and Warranty Scheme.
Health & Safety:
- Scomac has a strict Health & Safety Policy which treats all relevant legislation as the minimum standards to be achieved.
- We have a full-time Health and Safety Manager, who is IOSH certified. All site staff are CSCS qualified, as are our specialist sub-contractors. This ensures that our high standards are maintained.
- Scomac is fully affiliated to all appropriate trade organisations and works within their guidelines for Certificate and Health & Safety.
