About Us
In the late 1990s, Dave McCloskey and David Scott, Scomac Services’ Directors, wanted to offer a service which was based on partnering with clients and sub-contractors as a way of greatly enhancing the business. As a result of their discussions, they launched Scomac Services in 1998, a building services company, offering a proactive approach, developed by forging trust between clients and contractors alike.
Scomac Services is a key provider offering a fully comprehensive package to suit all building services requirements from Design, Installation, Facilities Management Consultancy, Maintenance, Training and Mechanical & Electrical Engineering Services.
Scomac Services has a progressive approach, as do our team of professional, highly motivated and qualified personnel and we always aim to provide a comprehensive and high standard service to all our all clients, whether they be large corporations, charities or private individuals.

Dave McCloskey, Director
+Dave McCloskey started work as an apprentice with MJN Limited in Croydon in the mid 1980s and has over 25 years’ experience in the construction industry. After working with a number of other companies in the UK and abroad, he started his own company in the late 1990s, working in all aspects of the building services industry in the UK. Dave joined forces with David Scott to create Scomac Services Limited in 1998. The company has gone from strength to strength ever since.
When asked how he positioned Scomac Services in the Building Services Sector, he said “From the early days we have surrounded ourselves with a quality work force that has helped us to reach out into other sectors. This has enabled us to place ourselves in a excellent position to develop the business even further in the future.”

David Scott, Director
+A former project leader with a large M&E contractor, David has spent many years working on large projects within the industry. In 1998 he joined with Dave McCloskey to create Scomac Services, a building services company aiming to offer a fresh look at service by being proactive and developing trust between both clients and contractors alike.
Both Directors were pleased to be included in The Sunday Times Fast Track 100 league table in 2005. They saw this as being testament to their proven management skills in that the company had grown so successfully in the preceding years. Now a fully integrated building services company, Scomac Services has continued to grow and break into new markets despite the difficult economic climate.
